Built on modular hardware components and PINC’s advanced real-time location software, Yard Hound™ products are designed with a scalable, infrastructure-lite architecture to meet the needs of facilities and budgets of all sizes.

Yard Management: Yard Hound Guard
 Yard Hound™ GUARD – Monitors trailer traffic through the gate in real-time, and keeps track of which trailers are in the yard and their ages. For fleet trailers that have permanent tags installed, Yard Hound Guard enables express check-in and check-out processes and increases the gate throughput dramatically.
Yard Management: Yard Hound Director Yard Hound™ DIRECTOR – Through the in-cab touch-screen monitor, Yard Hound Director facilitates two-way communication between the traffic managers and the yard truck drivers to assign and confirm trailer move tasks. Leveraging real-time visibility data, the system is a powerful tool for streamlining yard management processes and optimizing task executions.
Yard Management: Yard Hound Locator

Yard Hound™ LOCATOR – Tracks the status and location of the mobile assets and personnel in the yard in real-time. Information such as trailer and yard truck movement history are collected continuously, and presented in an intuitive, map-based view. Performance analysis and reports such as yard truck and lane utilization, moves per hour, and average distance per move are generated automatically based on custom metrics.
Yard Management: Yard Hound Reefer Yard Hound™ REEFER – Remotely monitors the set and current temperatures of refrigerated trailers in the yard. Temperature readings from the refrigeration units are periodically polled by the PINC Reefer Access Point and reported through the PINC Reefer Tags at custom configured frequencies. Automatic alerts are generated on temperature or fuel level crossing alarm thresholds.
