Ken Colby
Chief Executive Officer
Ken Colby is CEO and brings to PINC more than 25 years of management leadership and a proven record of success. A veteran executive with high-growth mobile solution and enterprise software/SaaS companies, his focus at PINC is driving the company's strategic direction and overseeing all operations of the company. Ken most recently served as President of Software Operations Improvement, providing consulting to VCs and startups implementing mobile resource management solutions. Before SOI, as SVP of Global Operations for SmartDrive Systems, he oversaw the manufacturing, deployment, and support of an industry-leading, SaaS-based solution for driver safety and fleet productivity. Through the end of 2007, Ken held the position of President and General Manager of @Road, the leading SaaS-based provider of mobile resource management solutions for commercial fleets in North America. Ken delivered over $100 million in revenue and led the company following its acquisition by Trimble Navigation, a worldwide provider of advanced GPS solutions. Prior to @Road, he held executive level positions at Sybase, Oracle, Mincom, and a number of enterprise software providers. Ken has extensive international experience, living and working in both Asia and Europe where he led regional sales and service organizations and gained experience opening up new and emerging markets.
Ken served twelve years in the U.S. Navy and is a graduate of the U.S. Naval Academy at Annapolis, Md where he holds a B.S. in Engineering.

Aleks Gollu, Ph.D.
Chief Technology Officer
Aleks Gollu is the founder and CTO of PINC Solutions. Dr. Gollu drives further innovation for the company's best-in-class asset visibility solutions. Prior to founding PINC, Aleks was VP of Product and Services Marketing at Telecommunication Systems (TSYS), which he joined when it acquired OTelNet, a company he co-founded. At OTelNet, a venture-backed startup company in the telecom software market, he was VP of Engineering and Corporate Development and a member of the Board of Directors. He was instrumental in establishing Verizon, Vodafone, and T-Mobile as the company’s tier-1 customers, which ultimately led to its successful exit. Prior to OTelNet, his industry experience include positions at Sapient, Oracle, and Teknekron Communication Systems.
Dr. Gollu holds a BS degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and MS and Ph.D. degrees from University of California, Berkeley, all in EECS. He holds 3 patents.

Rick Mizzo
Vice President, Operations
Rick Mizzo has over 32 years of experience in manufacturing, procurement, supply chain, logistics, transportation and warehousing operations for both consumer goods and wholesale grocery operations. As Vice President of Operations, Rick is responsible for all Supply Chain functions at PINC as well as best practices and rapid ROI at our customers. Prior to joining PINC, he was Vice President of Global Operations at Corgi International Ltd., a consumer goods toy and gift company where he oversaw a global supply chain with engineering and manufacturing operations in Asia with worldwide distribution.
Rick has held executive positions at Pacific American Services, Summit Logistics, Pacific Warehouse Company and Bunzl Foodservice.

Al Peterson
Vice President, Sales
Allen (Al) Peterson has held executive positions in F500 and startup high technology companies and transportation leasing companies. He has also served high technology clients as a management consultant. Al’s IBM career included systems engineer, sales, sales management and Regional/HQ management positions. His IBM sales and sales management territories were primarily food and consumer goods manufacturers in Northern California. Then, as Division President, he started and grew new transportation leasing businesses for two San Francisco financial services firms, ITEL and BRAE. Later, Al held Sales/Marketing VP positions with start-up companies including Speech Plus, Fourth Shift and ThruPut Systems. In 1999 he joined Kewill Systems, a U.K. holding company, as President/CEO of JobBoss. In 2000, Al became President of the Kewill ERP Division and successfully led a profitable sales/services and acquisition-based expansion during the “dot-bomb” economy. Beginning in 2006, and until recently, Al held interim Sales VP, Marketing VP and advisory positions with startup Sensys Networks and helped them double in revenues every year.
Al is also a Certified Management Consultant (CMC) and has provided sales and marketing strategy assistance to early stage companies, midsized firms, and F500 firms including IBM, Xerox, British Telecom, GTE, CSC, Philips, Agilent and NetApp. Al’s formal education includes an MBA from the Haas School of Business, University of California, Berkeley and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Oregon State University. __________________________________________________________________
Aimee Tang
Vice President, Engineering
Aimee Tang brings more than 20 years of experience in software engineering, engineering management and professional services to PINC. Aimee oversees PINC’s efforts in product development, software development, project and release management, and quality assurance. Prior to joining PINC, she was Director of Engineering at NightFire Software (acquired by NeuStar), where she managed the development of intersystem service management platforms for the telecommunication industry. Aimee represented NightFire in TeleManagement Forum, the world’s industry association of web, telecom and media companies focused on end-to-end service management. In 2001, she collaborated with companies from six different countries at the prestigious TeleManagement World Catalyst Exhibition in France. Previously, Aimee held program and project management positions at TCSI Corporation where she worked extensively with international companies as well as working and living in Asia.
Aimee holds a BA degree in Computer Science from University of California, Berkeley.

Naisan Modjarrad
Vice President, Customer Care
Naisan Modjarrad leads PINC Solutions customer care organization and drives service excellence throughout all PINC operations. Before PINC, Naisan led customer operations for Trimble Navigation’s Mobile Resource Management (MRM) division, the leading GPS SaaS provider for local commercial fleets in North America. At Trimble, Naisan built a Customer First team supporting an installed base of over 200,000 vehicles. Prior to Trimble, Naisan held senior level product marketing and management positions at network equipment makers Salira Optical Networks, Larscom Inc., and Netility Corp. Before Netility, Naisan led product management at Nortel Networks’ broadband access business unit where he developed DSL platforms. Prior to Nortel, Naisan headed business development for Netopia creating the first DSL education centers with leading internet search engines. Naisan began his career at telecommunications equipment makers Coastcom and Premisys where he moved from finance to marketing and product management.
Naisan holds a B.S. in Business Administration with an Accounting Concentration from California State University Hayward. |
